As a retiree who is watching a carefully planned financial strategy blow up in real time, I've taken to doing jigsaw puzzles with hubby. Next best thing to solving the puzzle of why elected officials and Musk are deliberately blowing up, well, everything. Latest completed endeavor.

This breaks my heart. I have many family members who have proudly served in the US military. The fact that their service and sacrifice is being denigrated by the very government they serve us a travesty.

Capitalism tells you what is wrong about you, and then sells you something to make it right.

Essentially we're selling citizenship. But, while he's putting that up for sale he's simultaneously making it less and less desirable to be a US citizen.

I have drastically reduced my spending across the board and continue to look for ways to cut. I will participate in the blackout, but I believe our teal power lies in ongoing choices we make with our pocketbooks.

Boy, I know how I'd be answering this. The longest list, with the most jargon, wins!

Making orange marmalade and wondering when, exactly, we stopped teaching Upton Sinclair's The Jungle in high school. A sobering reminder of the utter disregard large corporations have for their labor force--which I suspect we are about to be reminded of in real time.
