Public support for action to combat ongoing fox, stag and hare hunting remains high, with strong, consistent support among voters of all parties and across all regions of the country, including here in Mid Cheshire.

Community groups can apply for grants of up to £5,000 through the Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s SWAP Fund.

This fund redirects money seized from criminals back into communities to support positive change.

It was a busy month in the constituency while Parliament has been in recess and I've really enjoyed the chance to speak with as many constituents, local businesses and community groups as possible.

🚨BREAKING NEWS: The Middlewich Eastern Bypass has been approved!

I am delighted to announce that this Labour Government has agreed to fund the Middlewich Eastern Bypass. This comes as the result of a great deal of lobbying and meetings with the Government. Please read my full statement below.

Today marks one year since I was elected as the Member of Parliament for Mid Cheshire.

I am incredibly grateful to be in this position and I look forward to the next four years working alongside you all - whether you voted for me or not.

☕I am hosting a coffee morning this Friday at Middlewich Library.

There is no need to book for this event, feel free to just show up on the day. Please arrive 5 minutes early. I look forward to seeing some of you there!

My team and I recently surpassed 6,000 cases opened since I was elected last summer.

We are always here to provide support, answer questions about Government policy or raise any issues you may be having with the relevant authorities or ministers. Please never hesitate to get in touch with me.

Cheadle already has two stations very close by and enjoys a bus service the likes of which we can only dream of in Cheshire. It is totally unjustified and frankly tone-deaf to push forward with this without serious work on improving services for communities all the way along the Mid Cheshire Line.

We were promised two trains per hour in the Northern Franchise. That promise has never been fulfilled.

Solutions I've heard - only stopping at Plumley, Mobberley and Ashley every two hours - effectively kills public transport to these communities. Who will run the risk of a cancelled train if it means a two hour wait?

Every station added to this line adds 2-3 minutes to an already unattractive journey time.

The Mid Cheshire Line is the only route into Manchester from Northwich. Despite being only 20 miles away from the city, the journey somehow takes an hour, and there is only an hourly service.

It's completely correct that this work is "held up" until a solution is proposed that doesn't disadvantage communities along the Mid Cheshire Line.
