It had been devoid of activity in the mornings but I've resorted back to 21st St for the ride into work. I was checking daily to see if they're out since the condition of 21st St is pretty bad east of Girls School Rd. At least the construction guys are usually gone for the ride back home.

Civil Air Patrol is an existing option. The cadet program has the military lean for discipline and teamwork but the emphasis was on aerospace/aeronautical education and SAR/disaster response. No need to wait until after high school for those that don't want to. CAP did not turn me into a fascist.
