If any friends want to reach out my replies will probably be slow, but I appreciate it infinitely.
This is also my first time having to make a euthanasia decision, so if anyone is willing to offer support or advice on this I would greatly appreciate it.

Unconditional love is something we associate with a higher power, but I am convinced it’s right here on earth, purring on someone’s lap or wagging its tail when the door opens.

This is my first time losing an animal companion I’ve been this close to. I really can’t even begin to describe how much she means to me. She supported me through my parent’s divorce, migrated with me to 3 different countries, and has been there for me in the darkest days of my early transition.

This is my baby Serafina, she’s 16, and I’ve had her since I was 9. This past Monday her vet confirmed she’s in end stage kidney disease and won’t make it to next year, so we’re spending our last days together in warmth and as much comfort as I can provide.

Been taking a several days off to look after my partner after gender affirming surgery, and haven’t been able to draw much. Would love to hear prompts/ideas/themes, visual or otherwise, you associate with transness, gender nonconformity, pain, caregiving and healing - would love some inspiration!
