My earliest memories are about semi-trauma & one funny thing 🙂

At 3 I stepped on a nail in a railroad tie that went through my foot. We had to take the whole tie in the car to the hospital but I remember the doctor being funny & making me laugh.

Starting at 5 I had excruciating earaches for years.

I don't have any 'good news' to share right now unfortunately, but I can at least state that I know what you're going through and truly hope it gets better soon.

When I looked at this post I was surprised not to see Brazil on the list of top holders, so I did a little research and saw how much they had divested over the last year. Obviously I haven't been paying close enough attention to this metric, b/c I had no idea.

I understand your point 🙂 but aren't there around 100 (or a little less) species of whales (including dolphins) and over 500 species of sharks?

Personally, I wish there was more exposure to some of the lesser known species of both rather than all the attention on the most famous ones... 🦈🐋

I know how heartbreaking this is, and hard it is to lose a member of the family 💔 Marvin was very lucky to have you in his life as you were to have him. 💚

This piece of #wood was on the fireplace mantle in an AirBnB that I rented in Oslo. As soon as I saw it, I started calling it #NorwegianWood and multiple times during that stay listened to The Beatles "Rubber Soul" 🎶 🙂

What a horrible tragedy and my heart goes out to all involved. This must be so hard on the keepers and other zoo staff as well. So heartbreaking 💔

2a) although the city bird of Seattle is the Great Blue Heron and there are ~ 70 active nests that are only about 1/2 mile from my apartment, so I see them daily

I saw this a couple of months ago at the Seattle Public Library & the director gave a talk afterward.

Really interesting doc & I could not have been more proud of the librarians featured. They really are brave & never should have had to deal w/ the threats & nonsense that they're facing everyday.

Oh, and I had zero idea what peptides were, which is why I'm reading this article in the first place...

As for the cats: I did this once & used the closet method. I put the new guy in the walk-in closet w/ a litterbox, food & water.
