A few months ago were released a fully-functional set of mods for P5R that have Kasumi as the protagonist. (With Sumire's whole arc rewritten accordingly.)

While there's obviously a lot of jank, it's surprisingly compelling.

Technically what happened us that the scores from people who watched fewer than 10 episodes (20% of the total) don't count anymore.

Usually this weeds out the kneejerk droppers, so that it begets such a fall is remarkable.

This is the show that make me take notice of (Nagisa's) Yumi Uchiyama, with the next year's Good Luck Girl confirming her comedy chops.

This is definitely a show I plan on checking out once Netflix deigns streaming it over here...

Exactly 12 episodes per volume, actually (there are four episodes left to cover LN 4's climax). It may be related to taking so many pointers from the Nekokurage manga adaptation, which also took its sweet time (it's not yet done with LN 4).

The anime has nearly caught up with the SquareEnix/Nekokurage manga (like, it's barely one episode or so behind) and should overtake it before second season is over.
The Shogakukan/Kurata manga recently started covering LN 5 and should thus stay (barely) ahead.

For what it's worth, the previous anime under this (new) label, Yandere Dark Elf, got 12-minute episodes.

Fortunately, the good stuff hasn't really started yet.

But do you hate that it's 3am when you told yourself at 11am you'll tailor the base CV to the application and get it in before lunch ?

Yeah, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, and there are definitely worse-looking episodes - looking at you, #11.

Something I really appreciated about early 0079 is how *claustrophobic* it felt. It's laser-focused on the White Base and its direct pursuers, we have no clue how the rest of the war is going. We can *feel* the crew's increasing exhaustion.

Marvel have nearly consistently published 2 issues of AMAZING a month since the start of Slott's run in 2010 ; clearly this sells better than a Spider-Man B-title (not that they haven't kept trying that too).
