Indiana Jones Movies Have Always Ended With Big Swings
Divided fan response to the ending of "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" belies the fact that this franchise has always been weird.
I wrote about Indiana Jones and why audiences constantly seem to be taken aback when these movies end with wild swings, which I think is actually a testament to Spielberg and Ford’s talents. They’re almost too good at making these stories grounded.
