Just since it's come up a few times in groups in the past couple of days, your regular reminder that functional capacity questionnaires for disability, whether medical or social security, aren't asking the exact question they're asking.

generally speaking, doctors only see health-privileged patients when they're feeling their worst and chronically ill patients when they're feeling their est. Chronically Ill folks often can't even make it to see a doctor when at their worst. More doctors need to understand this <3 <3

They are offsetting the cost of lower taxes for billionaires by slashing programs for the most needy.

So much for Christian charity toward the poor.

Not only is disability tax very real - the system is designed to keep us in poverty.

Everything costs more, we have a higher number of emergency expenses, and we’re prohibited from earning extra money (and in some cases we can’t even inherit or fundraise).

It’s a terrifying & precarious situation.
