I’ve been listening to “What My Bones Know”, a memoir on my TBR for a long time.

It’s been a beautiful and challenging journey. Hearing someone reflect my internal monologue and turmoil so accurately is both therapeutic and horrifying.

The State House of Representatives passed legislation to prevent the National Guard from other states from entering Washington without our permission.

I look forward to signing it and joining a bipartisan group of states that have this protection.

The terrible CR Budget bill — written by right-wing House Republicans with no input from anybody but themselves — was passed tonight with the support of 10 Democrats.

Gotta say living through these wacky times have really shattered any long term goals or even any illusions of "where I should be" at this point of my life. We truly are going day by day, for better and for worse.

The American people need to see courageous acts from ALL Democrats right now. You are not in the right on this one. Listen to the rest of your party, and vote NO.

You’re not alone. I’ve been struggling with this too and unfortunately don’t have a great rec to make it better. I try to give myself time without doom scrolling, see friends that fill my cup, and focus on the basics of caring for myself (ie: eat, drink water, move your body, etc). It helps a little
