Opencourseware and coursera have been great for African archaeology/ancient history, visual studies and linguistics - it’s definitely no problem finding the courses!

One thing that would be great is being able to take open modules via coursera etc. as part of one’s masters.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem auditing extra online modules to make up for what’s missing but making it more cost effective might actually make coursera etc courses more appealing.

Let me get this straight: Link, a Black user, got banned for calling out the Bluesky CEO for following a racist. That’s not a good look, especially given Bluesky’s historical treatment of Black users here on bluesky.

Good write-up this. Every bit of research shows that 'pre-buttal' (i.e. people don't see the misinformation or malinformation first) is much more effective than factchecking. Part of that is 'government should try and make it so that you can cover UK politics without being on X'.

Not even going to get into the political aspect eg investing whilst socialist (it’s fine, it’s fine - I’ll just research co-ops in need of members by myself).

I’d love a channel like The Financial Diet, but based in the U.K. and targeted at queer women (because whilst it’s useful to keep abreast of what the men-loving girlies have to be mindful of wrt relationships and finances…I’d just like some diversity you know?).
