My 8 yo boy is also the same. And some kid in his class told him about this book. He asked me to go to the library (never does) and he picked this out so now I’m curious I might have to read it too.

Last year I submitted my novel for a mentorship program. While I already knew I didn’t get selected last night one of mentors reached out to tell me I was one of her top choices and that I had a great story. That was a real confidence booster! #amwriting

9 yo Elvin is crying inside. Sometimes as an adult you have to feed that inner child. This was a buffet for mine. All time favorite Disney character. Ducktales changed my childhood. #JollywoodNights

I don’t think it’s rated R but as a kid my dad showed me the original Night of the Living Dead because his cousin starred in it. The first real R film he showed me was Nightmare on Elm Street. I slept with the lights on and my door barricaded.

I try to take my son to a different museum every time we come home to visit. This trip was Air and Space. He wasn’t as impressed as I thought he might be but half of it was under renovations. Maybe next time.
