So thatβs what Iβm going to do. I wonβt give my energy to that other thing today. Instead, Iβll give it to my family, my loved ones, and the future weβre building togetherβa better future for all of us.
Weβll do this together. Always together.

Iβve been thinking a lot about what Martin Luther King Jr. would say today.
I think heβd be disappointed, but not surprised.
I donβt know what heβd say, but I imagine heβd remind us to keep going. To keep dreaming.

I want a world where gender-nonconforming boys and girls arenβt weaponized for fear or politics.
Kindness shouldnβt be politicalβit should be human.
Iβm so grateful for families like ours in this community. If this resonates with you, follow me. Weβll need each other.
Love wins. π

Boys like him are rarely depicted in books or mediaβand in Texas, those books or media get banned.
This is all an attempt to make boys like my son feel othered, out of placeβor worse, like thereβs something wrong with them.

My son loves dance, wears dresses, his favorite color is purple, he prefers princesses over superheroes, and he is the sweetest little boy. Sadly, heβs never met another little boy whoβ¦

The other night, while driving my son home from dance class, he told me he wished he wasnβt the only boy in his class.
I felt so deeply for him in that moment. I did my best to validate his feelings (Iβve wished the same for him) and lift his spirits.

Families with two dads get a special kind of hate online.
Also, does anyone need to be nurtured more than straight men? The same men who think nurturing is weakness, as comedian Akeem Woods points out, seem to need nurturing more than anyone.

11.01.2025 03:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It doesnβt take mental gymnastics to draw a direct line from Christians who believe in an authoritarian God that demands obedienceβor youβll be punishedβto an authoritarian political ideology that does the same.
The root problem isnβt policy; itβs a religious dogma built on control.
The number of times Black people and POC must be polite to racist, hateful bigotsβpeople who put their families at riskβthen smile like nothing happened is something white people truly donβt understand.
Yes, women face this too, but itβs different for POC, especially Black people.
I think a lot of people are in the same boat.

Hereβs 3 steps they should take to protect their citizens:
π΄ Pass disinformation laws to hold social media companies accountable (sanctions?)
π΄ Ban X
π΄ Freeze Musk and Zuckβs financial assets if they donβt comply
