POV class in the UK isn't really that baffling it's a combination of economic, geographic educational and aspirational factors. What is baffling is that in a country obsessed with class how simplistic (and plain wrong it is) most people's understanding of it is.

💥 Family clearing out late inventor’s Huddersfield home find hand grenade Family members sorting through the belongings of Wilf Lunn, the well-known eccentric inventor and former Vision On regular, a TV show in the 1960-70s, who died in December 2023, came across a hand grenade in his house on North Road in Kirkburton, Huddersfield. The discovery happened during routine clearance at the Huddersfield property where Lunn lived and worked for many years, surrounded by his quirky creations and workshop clutter. Police attended the scene straight away and put a cordon in place. Bomb disposal experts attended and safely removed the grenade and detonated it in a safe location nearby.

No I was going to give you an update. We rocked up at 12 and all the tables in the main room were free and you can have drinks and bar snacks (including oysters) but also some roast dinners . So might be worth taking a punt if you can't get a restaurant booking
