TRACKER met with Health Minister Mary-Anne Thomas MP to discuss our work and hear from Lisa Briggs, TRACKER Consumer Committee Chair, about her lived experience. Together, we’re driving change for lung cancer patients. 💙

🔬 Ever wondered how doctors see inside the lungs? Bronchoscopy is a tiny camera exploring airways, helping diagnose & collect biopsy samples. Using EBUS-TBNA, even advanced-stage lung cancer patients’ tissue can be studied over time — vital for TRACKER’s research & future therapies. 🧬

👩‍🔬Breaking Barriers

Historically, women were underrepresented in medical research, leading to gaps in understanding & care. TRACKER is changing that.

So far, we’ve recruited 60 men & 43 women, ensuring lung cancer research is inclusive for better outcomes for all!🙌
