It's a side effect of having integrity that seeking help can be uncomfortable. Just have to remember humans are strongest when we lean on one another. You're not a failure because you rely on someone else. You're human.

One of the biggest things I had to get over in life was guilt and/or shame for asking for help. The only people who *should* feel that way are the ones who never would: the predators, the ingrates. You're not one of them, so please don't feel guilty.

I'd have to see the context, but I'll say it can make sense to do, even if the full ensemble is present, depending on whether it helps streamline some thread or reinforce a later plot point/character beat or an overarching theme. Of course, I also have to finish reading the books so I can judge...
