The progression left a lot to be desired; you win battles to increase your deck cost, and better monsters cost more. Strategies that weren't just "The biggest beaters I can afford" seemed inferior.

The game was short so it didn't overstay its welcome.

Wario Ware Inc. (GBA)

A staple from my childhood, and for good reason. The base game is short and playable in one sitting, but is replayable for high-score chasing.

The characters are all fun and unique and truly set the Wario franchise apart from the rest of the Mario universe.

Donkey Kong Country (SNES)

I really did not enjoy this game, it does not follow the philosophy of showing players obstacles in a safe environment before killing you and the life system is super outdated.

I will give its flowers though, level variety was incredible for the time.

I realized I don't have a place where I track games I play/beat and this is probably a fun forum for it. Gonna start posting twitter-length reviews of the games I beat here with a 1-10 scale.

Cooking for myself has really helped me with nutrition. Like sure, I may use some butter/oil that some shredded weirdo would scoff at but if it makes eating vegetables enjoyable I think it's worth it. Smoothies are good for fiber and gut health and they're easy. I think protein is super overhyped rn

If you want to play games that are made for YOU you need to play games by indie devs. Nintendo couldn't care less about you.

Saying it's BAD that select in menus is just A for both bros is completely misunderstanding who these games are made for. It's not made for old fans, they couldn't hold up the previous games. It's for casual Nintendo players and kids, you just happen to be playing it. That's art under capitalism.
