Second page provides Id sketchs of Perfect Works but the left portraits are here without smoggy background. More cute fanarts, as the magazine launches some funny "character relation contest" with lots of private jokes, and seems confident that Xenogears 2 will be a thing!

Hakozaki Elements #23 features some funny fan letters, asking notably for an Anime Version of the game, and even an official card game. Nice fanarts and a lovely patchwork "Where's waldo?" one.

Some funny things in this issue, such as the critic of the French film Paparazzi praising the infamous Patrick Timsit and some infos about expressos machines... As well as a glimpse on the Fushigina Data Disk 2 (the first one is very important in Xenogears history!

Almost on year after Xenogears' release, game is still spot 3 of reader's top. Apart from this and the Hakozaki Elements #23, the magazine follows the trends of the time, i.e. lots of Ergheiz propaganda (same in France, that did not age well...), but also focus on Another Mind.

Magazine was out a few monthas after the release, but Xenogears still holds the 7th spot on User's top chart and 1998's top year sales.

Receiving no less than 15 Japanese magazines from 1998 this weekend, all of them having some Xenogears content. Scanning/deciphering them this weekend... Hope this will give new interviews/arts/ads/infos.

If i'm not mistaken Sample CD source for the voice was found out in 2022, but user hex12 on twitter. It's was taken from "EastWest's Electronica CD", released in 1997 ; available on archive . org : archive.org/details/east...

Finally got the right inspiration to get into Game Dev... Long journey starting but as far as music go, already cooking (if you did not, listen to Belladonna OST 😌)

Enfin du merch sympa (pour rien au monde je n'aurais manqué l'*indispensable* serviette de bein GoTS) les artistes sur place... C'est ouvert jusque demain entrée gratuite il n'y a qu'à s'inscrire pour y aller allez hop-hop-hop.

Petit carré un peu pop art, on quitte pour finir les années 90 pour retourner dans les années 80, avec un parfum de Nadia (en tout cas pour moi). 4/n

Possibilité d'acheter si on peut se le permettre, mais rien que pour les yeux ca vaut le détour. 3/n

La technique de superposition est tres jolie (désolé pour els reflets, c'est moi) et on voit notamment que les fonds et le sol sont des mosaiques subtiles faites à partir de certains écrans de Ghost in a Shell (Zoomez pour voir!)

Ah ok! :) I was planning on buying also old magazines the next time i'll go to Japan (Mandarake delivery prices threw me off) so if so i'll be sure not get magazines you already have (I hope it was not too expensive). Never been afiliated to a website but all this deserves a repositery, somewhere.

Not sure what you mean, this booklet has been around since forever (it's now on xeno underground I think). It's amazing to have all these old magazines and booklets, have fun finding new contents! For preservation purpose, there should be be some place with all scans/interviews about the game, imo.

La saga Evangelion offre un regard personnel et subtil sur une œuvre éreintée par ses suiveurs. Virginie Nebbia réussit brillamment son tour et parvient à extraire Evangelion de son trou noir de maniaco-dépression, (9/10)
