At the Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute 2025 Fellows for a Fireside Chat today, Controller Cohen shared lessons learned through her career in public service and connected with international leaders committed to lifelong learning and impact.

Controller Cohen joined the grand opening of the Mosa Apartment Homes Project, Elk Grove’s largest affordable housing complex. “Affordable housing is the foundation for everything else we value: education, health, safety, dignity.”- Controller Cohen.

This month, SCO joins all Californians in honoring the enduring presence, culture, and leadership of indigenous people who call this land home. We will continue to partner on policy & programs aligned with tribal sovereignty, environmental stewardship, and community well-being.
