Robbie Coltrane was brilliant to the staff; recalling how he/his mates would bus it down from Rutherglen. Sadly, his friendliness was offset by a co-star who was incredibly aloof!
We arrived about 3:30 and managed to catch the end of Elmieneβs set. What a voice!
Thee Sacred Souls were brilliant and their frontman Josh Lane had the audience engaged throughout.
Never seen so many folk with tears running down their cheeks at Stevieβ genius. Simply no one comes close
Always say hello, or thank them for enriching your life; they're only human.
Always been my motto - most recent example was meeting Martin O'Neill at a CSC gig in Wimbledon. I shook his hand and thanked him (most sincerely in a MON way) for all the joy he had brought to me and my family.
I saw Billy Connolly there - he released a video "Billy and Albert" that year.
He had just returned from Oz and one of my friends was an Aussie. I thought his stories were funny but my friend was wetting herself. I realised that his comedic genius was way beyond the parochial Crucifixion.
That's my privilege, living in London. Everyone comes here.
05.07.2025 20:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We will. Had the privilege of being in his presence on multiple occasions, dating back to 1988 in Wembley Arena.

05.07.2025 19:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Every fuckin band thatβs ever played has probably played with Jimβs amps on their stage.
Thatβs a brilliant legacy that his friends are committed to upholding in his memory. True power in the peopleβs hands.
Jim Marshall was a drummer before opening his music store in Hanwell (about 1 mile from where I live).
Jim died in 2011 and his friends started an annual festival (Hanwell Hootie) in memory to promote young bands; 30 min slots across multiple pubs in the area.
Long live the amp, and the music!
Stayed further down the coast at Messanges many years ago. Beautiful coastline but very dangerous currents in the area.

19.06.2025 19:39 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The queues move quickly. I used to work in the Truman Brewery building on Brick Lane and was a frequent customer there.
Any dithering in the queue is handled abruptly by the serving staff.

Just checking but assuming that should read Atalanta, rather than Atlanta?
12.06.2025 12:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I left Glasgow 39 years ago and this is the image of my youth. Played football every night near the flagpole in the summer.
My shot from 2 years ago (27th May 2023).
Sadly, itβs the world that weβve evolved into. I had exactly the same feelings when I saw it on the news. No doubt, a few selfies being snapped as well.

She would be saying how good it would be if StJ winβ¦whilst all her visitors who pop in whenever the Hoops are at Hampden (politely) remind her that thereβll be no visitors on 24 May if she continues that line.
Suffice to say!

Sometimes you need some clouds to enhance a fantastic sunset. Other times, Hammersmith Bridge will suffice.
11.04.2025 21:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Todayβs performance brings some jeopardy into that semifinal tie.
06.04.2025 13:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0No composure whatsoever when shooting, helped their goalie have one of those matches. Utterly infuriating display that didnβt improve much with the substitutions.
06.04.2025 13:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If we win (big if given that performance) v Kilmarnock, anything other than a Hun victory at Pittodrie gives us the title. We have currently a +38 goal difference on them that will only increase if the above scenario plays out, with 5 games to play.

30.03.2025 00:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Quite fancy the Eagles to go all the way. After Newcastleβs win in Carabao Cup, it wouldnβt surprise me that another team like them wins this trophy.
29.03.2025 14:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hope KΓΌhn performs better than on his last outing. Looked like he was on his way out and lacked any desire.
Letβs hope some of the other failures in that match have got it out of their systems.
