Parties of the right have always attempted to limit access to higher education. It’s about protecting the privilege of the elite and suppressing critical thinking. It’s far more difficult to fool a well-read, educated electorate.

Their impatience and feeling of entitlement means they are putting the cart before the horse. They need to sort out their infrastructure, build a team and then start developing talent. It takes time.

Desperate to mimic our success in developing and selling talent. The issue they have is the rest of their squad is crap. You can develop talent as long as you have an established backbone in place. They do not.

Still, that means more than 1 in 4 people didn’t bother to vote.

Considering the impact Brexit was always going to have on the country, that’s appalling.

The responsibility of voters in a democracy is far greater than candidates, parties or parliaments.

Apathy will be the death of democracy.

Gerrard would demand a whacking great transfer budget. I don’t think they can afford him.

That said, Martin needing a police escort and back door exit will have given their board the fear. Supporters will be after them if they don’t get their slippy man!

Possibly. The manager needs to find his best position and build his confidence.

Another reason why I think the Celtic board are complacent and out of touch with the realities of the game. I don’t think they understand the scale of risk to the club and Scottish football generally of missing out on European competitions.

The coefficient is taking a kicking. Less places overall and those we’ll get will involve more tricky qualifying rounds.

Leaders of the game in Scotland need to have a think about the direction we’re going in.
