The crazy thing is that I’m not even overachieving I’m just doing what’s right.

And my job is very rare bc it’s not often that nonprofits have the means to hire teams like mine. So do I put up with a shitty culture for my dream job, or quit my dream job for a better culture?

But I LOVE my job. It’s exactly what I want to be doing, I just can’t stand the environment and culture I have to put up with.

My job doesn’t want what I do. They want me to fall in line but unfortunately that’s not who they hired. I really think they messed up by hiring me and I’m not turning out to be who they hoped I was.

This sounds really bad but hear me out: I’ve been doing more thorough work than my manager since early on. I write all of my documents from *scratch* and they’re just copy and pasting stuff that’s not even relevant and calling it done.
And they’re the one that got promoted.
