I just sent some queries following up on DVPit likes so now I need to just MANIFEST.

I don't normally do moodboards but have a moodboard for my #amquerying project. A comedic romantasy about a terrible vampire hunter who sets out to kill Dracula, but strikes a deal to stay alive, and they end up falling in love instead.

Right off the back of Dvpit, I’m also planning to be pitching my Comedic Romantasy #amquerying book for both PitDark and Moodpitch. I’ll be there to support everyone else on the day!

While I didn’t get into smoochpit I got a lovely personalised email from a set of mentors saying they loved my work and only didn’t take it as it was out of their realm of comfort and was nothing to do with quality.

I managed to get through chapters 1-3 and I have some bits from later on written so hopefully it will be easier at this point!

There are two wolves inside me.

One wants to send more queries now.

The other wants to be patient and take my time to edit my materials when I get back from my holiday.

The two wolves are having a really gory battle.

People seeing bits of the end of my book when they have only read the opening is wild as I assure you the move from dinosaur nuggets and cat girl tshirts to epic emotional duels in the snow makes complete sense in context.

#amquerying is taking a toll on me as I feel I’m losing excitement for my book with every rejection. Is there a way to tackle this?
