I’ve got really really terrible brain fog and I’ve had to be in on super social mode for 2 weeks and my brain is just an unreliable mush

And just finding / realising / reliving all the wrong facts and social awks now 🙃🙃🙃

Update: I found Superstore again and it was great

Big realisation this week

I’m never going to make every pattern that I buy

So

I’ve been trying to read a lot of them to understand the design and mechanisms behind it

And I’ve realised there’s a bunch I wouldn’t like making anyway

Went through the pile o’ WIPs and I’ve got 5 things I need to finish tonight for photos in the morning

And I want to start a new project

p.s am still procrastinating

Idk WHAT is happening but this is the 4th bucket hat and I’ve only only *just* made it to fit a normal adult head??

I had to size up so much and add more rounds

Is my tension ridiculous or is everyone else just really loosey goosey??

On the crochet front I’ve been busyyy

I launched a skunk pattern as part of a CAL and I’ve been working behind the scenes to upgrade it for sale

But also procrastinating by taking on 3 large pattern tests hahaha

Keep getting served reels about touching plants for mental health

I’ve been trying to do small patches weeding before breakfast

it’s great to destroy plants early in the morn’

I started Apothecary Diaries today

i.e. I’m on episode 7 now

Me: oh I have a sore belly

(Teokbokki with extra cheese)

Also finally upgrade the phone so it’s been a hectic 12 hours trying to reset everything up again

Whoops, turns out looking after a 3yo and a newborn is all consuming so I’ve been MIA

Back into normalcy now

I’m gonna get a foot massage today and I’m SO EXCITED

I keep forgetting about the funny thing that happened last week and when I do remember I’m too busy with the niece

Loving it tho

My morning includes the new baby doing multiple wet farts in my hand

She’s only just fallen asleep at 2am
I’ve managed to get a shower and indulging in brain rot time before chaos ensues in the morning

Finally getting a break from the nanny duties to have some brain rot time

My niece is about to get a sibling so she’s knows about babies and stuff

Today she pointed at my hanging gut and asked if I had a baby hiding in there 🫠🙃

There’s so many chatty old folks and injured folks in wheelchairs on this flight

I’ve finally had 10 minutes to calm down and cool off and we’re just about to board.

I’m so hungry already.

Got home
PACKED
and made it to the airport

New bag with stuff thrown in was exactly 25kg, so that was a massive win

Actual chaos but thankful everything worked out

Went out to the shopping mall near us only to find out that the only luggage shop was closed for reno’s

Mad dash to the next shopping centre about 20min away

Got the (last) bag available on sale (40% off, yes Aunty)
