Maybe this will become amplified by increasing use of AI? I really hope the structure of the review system is reconsidered, for example publisher houses paying/hiring reviewers

We show that mesophyll cell water status is the key signal regulating non-stomatal control of transpiration. We introduce a mechanistic model linking plant hydraulics and gas exchange.

An index, and can access NOAA download platforms for data from individual sites from it. Have noticed that when the ITRDB landing page is down, the webpages for individual site data can still be accessed via this index. Not as helpful as downloading all data, but I figured it is useful nonetheless ☺️

So impressive that you prepared this, important indeed! Have noticed the same 503 error before, has since been resolved, but is worrying… At least, the site-specific NOAA data can still be accessed via data.gov when the site is down
