Yeah I need big city life, lots of options for things to see/do, and lots of people out on the streets. Even Seattle feels too small TBH.

Oh I lived in the Midwest in the 90s but haven't been back since. But except for Chicago the cities are too small for me haha

Seattle has its charms and it's home base till I finish my Masters but it wouldn't be in my top 3 choices of US cities to live in TBH. Also too many dudes here.

Haha I'm not a fan of rainy weather or dark skies, but I do like the thick forests here. I don't like how cold and unfriendly the local culture is either... Summer is great tho! I'm back to my India wardrobe which is something I was waiting to do :)

Haha yes, in September! I'm in Seattle now.

Tomorrow's going to be my first day with 30 degree weather since moving to the US. Wild!

Something I like about life in the US is that it's pretty easy to be the best dressed dude in any given room 98% of the time (ok maybe not in NYC)

I agree in principle but like how much advocacy can one do? And I can only suggest it to friends. Twitter has years of networks built in that can't be replicated so easily.

I wish I could break my habit of turning to Twitter when I want to engage with a larger audience outside just my friends. But no other platform matches its reach, or crucially, its diversity really. Bluesky is too American!!

I still remember my experience dining at O Pedro, BKC (Bombay) very fondly.

Had my first counseling session since getting here in September. It was a volunteer thing at the uni so more of a listening session, but man it felt good to get a lot of thoughts off my chest. Feeling so much better.
