Lakewood City Council issued a declaration speaking out against ICE activities tonight. Denver City Council voted 13-0 to ban masks worn by law enforcement today. Obviously more work needs to be done but giving kudos when they are to due. Proud Metro Resident tonight.

Lakewood City Council voted yes to create an ad hoc community lead police oversight committee that will meet for a year to create a permanent independent oversight committee. The police stood there for 3 hours for no reason & just proved why they need oversight, starting with power dynamics training

SNAP nightmare is over, the trauma from it remains with helpers & the families affected. Please don't stop donating $, food & time to your local pantries, hunger is still at an all time high. We received this today when we picked up the pantry order. I wish I could share it with all of the helpers.

Donating food is a good deed, I have no issue with doing what you can for your neighbors in need. But Polis could tap his boy Anshultz, worth $19 million. Instead he says to the poors you better share with each other because the oligarchs don't care about you.

Polis' net worth is $300 million+ & he's asking us to drop off food to a mansion owned by the state. He may be unaware that his newsletter goes out to everyone, even SNAP recipients on his mailing list. He is unable to read a room because he's not in the room with us. He is completely out of touch.
