Hmm...both athletic for sure and Ross (and sadly pretty much every other basketball player on the planet) will be a better shooter, but... Andre's defense, passing, leadership...I can't answer that question bc Andre will always be my favoriteπ.

I'm still learning the games of the transfers. So Malachi Smith is The Passer...

I'm still deciding if this is real - small sample size. But I hope so!

Kara-dunk? And this time no fall.

Maybe UConn doesn't need Reed taking threes yet, lol.

It's been a hellava day and I've never needed to see UConn demolish a lesser team more. Hopefully the guys will UMass -Lowell Columbia. Let's go, UConn!

I know UConn is up by 30, but I think this may be too many backups on the court at once.

Maybe Serah Williams has arrived at UConnπ. (I hope)

Lol - yeah. Frustrating when the shots don't drop but we're going to be fun to watch for sure this year.

El Alfy, lol? Hopefully she will have recovered from that this year. Haven't seen enough yet to notice.

I don't understand where Ashlynn Shade's shot has gone since her freshman year. She rebounds and hustles like crazy and is definitely an asset to the team...but I miss that lights out shooting from distance.

She's not the only one today unfortunately.

Well, they didn't exactly make layups in the first quarter but the defense looked good. It's nice seeing some vintage UConn "defense leads to offense" play again. But I'd feel better if they weren't shooting 35%.

I have been dying to know how Penn State basketball ended up playing in New Haven. Turns out the UNH/Penn State ADs are in fact friendly and UNH agreed to play at Penn State for the next three years without a "buy game" fee. Financial creativity for the NIL/revenue sharing ageπ.

Well, not an ideal play result, but five and a half minutes is plenty of time for this UConn offense to score a TD, right?

I was feeling unjustifiably annoyed that UConn's offense had given Duke another chance before halftime, and then Mensah decided he just didn't want the ball.

Yeah, pretty incredible job catching the punt there. Sadly, it did not lead to a 99-yarder for Bell, but surely just bc that's coming laterπ€.
