I don't understand where Ashlynn Shade's shot has gone since her freshman year. She rebounds and hustles like crazy and is definitely an asset to the team...but I miss that lights out shooting from distance.

Well, they didn't exactly make layups in the first quarter but the defense looked good. It's nice seeing some vintage UConn "defense leads to offense" play again. But I'd feel better if they weren't shooting 35%.

I have been dying to know how Penn State basketball ended up playing in New Haven. Turns out the UNH/Penn State ADs are in fact friendly and UNH agreed to play at Penn State for the next three years without a "buy game" fee. Financial creativity for the NIL/revenue sharing age🙂.
