Looks great!
12.08.2025 16:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What are the wires for? Remote adjustable shocks? Anyway, looks beautiful!
12.08.2025 03:56 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lower links were shortened, sleeved with a fish-mouthed piece. Upper links with new heim joints installed. Terrible pic.
Visited the Fairlane at car college. Links in the rear suspension shortened and installed. Pinion angle corrected. Driveshaft ordered.
11.08.2025 16:47 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0I donβt know how I feel about these in general.
11.08.2025 19:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0How is it?
10.08.2025 23:50 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yep
10.08.2025 19:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What if would have hastened the Allied victory? Lol.
10.08.2025 19:04 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0850 is good for me, too.
09.08.2025 21:06 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah that was my other choice. Really anything probably 80βs to 90βs before they went rounded.
09.08.2025 20:24 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0In the US, for this purpose, Iβd have to go with an old Volvo, probably a 240. Anything more rare might be difficult to keep going as a daily or be too showy.
09.08.2025 20:17 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Must find more photos of the Williams' Honda City support car
07.08.2025 21:15 β π 76 π 22 π¬ 5 π 2Itβs way less kind of early-00βs retro
07.08.2025 19:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Dad back in the day pushing his 12 Gordini around aintree
28.07.2025 20:12 β π 68 π 8 π¬ 1 π 1Thanks! Itβs amazing how much more modern this car seems than my roadster. Surprisingly different thing overall considering itβs basically the same car.
27.07.2025 16:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks! We were both really surprised how well it kind of cleaned up. It sounds silly but replacing the various rubber pieces and trim that was covered with overspray made a massive difference.
We redid the entire interior as well.
I bet!
27.07.2025 16:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs in such a nice spot - looks really good but not a show car. This thing has what looks like a cheap paint job but cleaned up nicely. Changing all weatherstripping etc that was covered with overspray made a HUGE difference.
Need to mess with the timing and brakes as well as some other things.
Supercharged GT polished up and started. Looks pretty good!
27.07.2025 15:39 β π 35 π 2 π¬ 5 π 3I can really only get 91 here but the elevation makes it act like 93, supposedly. It seems to be slightly more happy with a bit of octane booster.
Thereβs a place or two the sells race gas..
lol that would be pretty funny.
26.07.2025 19:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm only MGE occasionallyβ¦ looks like that guy had a combination of too much compression and too much boost? This red MGB has the 8:1 engine - hopefully itβs ok. We thought about getting the βbig boostβ pulley but sounded like there was no point without head work.
My white MGB is running 10:1.
Hah!
26.07.2025 17:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Two different ways to theoretically make about the same power. Results TBD. The white MGB weighs probably 300+ pounds less than the red GT, but the supercharger probably makes a lot more torque down low.
26.07.2025 15:01 β π 21 π 1 π¬ 3 π 1Thanks! This is definitely not a show car, but all the better for it I think π
26.07.2025 04:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think itβs going to have similar HP to my MGB but I bet itβs faster! Torque!
26.07.2025 03:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs the moss kit. Itβs actually pretty nice!
26.07.2025 03:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Might be doubling the power to the wheels! 50 to 100. Ish. π
26.07.2025 03:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All done! Need to start it still, but the supercharger looks pretty cool in there!
