A late night work session with my girl Fiona!

Its easier to make games but its actually harder to make good games nowadays. Studios and indie devs can develop games in 1 or 2 months with AI..

The important part is that the game should be fun to play. It should have a soul. Only a true game developer can give soul to games!

Indie devs need to use social media as much as possible. But when the Steam page of the game isnt ready its hard to post every day

Not ready Steam page means you might loose someone who likes your game since there is not a page to add wishlist

But soon, I'll have my Steam page ๐Ÿ’ช

What was your first game that made you in love with gaming?

I remember mine exactly! It was Max Payne. I first saw it while my cousin was playing. We played together for couple of hours and I instantly download to my computer when I went home. What a great memory for me!

Can you give an advice for how to survive as an indie game developer? Here is mine;

You have to know your scope and act accordingly. Don't expect to develop a MMO PvP game in couple of months while being only a 2-3 people. Focus on finishing a game and publishing it

Change my mind: Katana Zero has the best musics in an indie game!

The musics go so well with the things that our character is doing, I'm literally slashing enemies with the rhythm of the music. Also all the levels give you different but equally great music. Such a masterpiece!

I can imagine why, the concept of black hole is to eat whatever you van and grow in a short matter of seconds. Totally coherent for the incremental genre

Cookie Clicker is one of the besy games that gives the feedback on "clickling". The immediate joy out of that, plus earning tons of things in just seconds... Total addictiveness!

What do you think about incremental games?

Lately, one of the most popular game genre is incremental games. They are easy to understand & play, they don't need high level of attention and they pump so much dopamine by quickly increasing the strength of the players.

I don't think www.gameuidatabase.com/ gets the credit they deserve. An amazing source for a developer to check how games did their UI/UX.

Of course the UI/UX should be characteristic in art style, there are some things that developers can miss!

How many cats do you need to develop a game?

For me 1 is enough and it should be my little girl, Fiona. Today she was neutered. Kind of a hard day for both me and her. Get well soon my princess so we can keep working on our game!

you will need to do some bad works before making a good one. Its not common that the first game will be a hit. But I should keep trying.
