A huge thanks to all for the birthday wishes and your support! <3
E Fry strives to address the root causes of criminalization of women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals. We do this through innovative programming, comprehensive housing supports, advocating for justice system reform, and supporting folks through their own capacity-building and empowerment.

Thanks to all for the love and support for our community in this difficult time <3
Harry would have loved this initiative. We can offer more legal services to those who are incarcerated and criminalized, and train soon-to-be lawyers in this critical work (while providing them with paid employment), in the hopes of expanding this area of law exponentially in our region.
27.02.2025 19:00 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0My dear friend Harry Critchley passed away last weekend. We have created a Fund in his name for an articling student in Prison Law.
If you would like to contribute, you can donate at www.efrymns.ca/donate and write "Harry Critchley" in the message. You will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Emma Halpern lectures at the front of a classroom. Behind her, a quote reads: “This is our work. This will continue to be our work because we believe that our women and our gender diverse people need to be in our communities, and need to have housing, have love, have care, have healthy meals, and have people surrounding them who are supporting them. And that’s the work of E Fry. That’s what we do and what we will continue to do.”
So glad to have my Executive Director, my colleague, my mentor, my friend Emma Halpern give a guest lecture to my @schulichlaw.bsky.social students on Prison Law tonight! I displayed my favourite Emma quote behind her 🖤
