Why is it hard for online commentators to acknowledge that owning a car is ridiculously convenient, if you can make the costs work? Where costs includes parking at home and destinations.

It really frustrates me how much discourse is made up of people flat out making up numbers and pushing them as real. Reminds me of the old "if you get a raise, you'll take home less money" crap. People genuinely believe that. Smart people.

Ordered my first replacement parts for my Steam Deck. That makes me happier than makes sense that they have official parts available.

The most amusing was how long it took me to realize that was the bug. Nature of the loop it was accidentally in had it acting as desired the majority of the time.

I think this was the first time python officially hit me with "accidentally had code in a loop" due to significant indentation. :(

Never had carpal tunnel. Evidently, didn't stop me from getting cubital tunnel. Curse the consequences of my own poor posture!

Well, nothing like an internet outage for a couple of hours to interrupt things.

Just saw that Knuth has updated some of his emacs setup available on his homepage. It makes me unreasonably happy to know he uses emacs.

My computer sometimes drowns in some USB error that I can best fix by rebooting. :( I am certain I should be able to fix the underlying problem, but I can't bring myself to care about it on the boots where things are working fine. And looking at the logs, I now see some "Unhandled alg: 0x71b" :(

TIL about emac's mouse-avoidance-mode. Surprisingly useful.

Is it normal for gmail to think you are trying to use keyboard shortcuts while you are typing into the search bar? Ridiculously frustrating.

Work away from my main machine for a few weeks, and my email count is at the lovely 1800 mark. Yay...
