Yes shouting - "There is no Oedipus Complex" at one's therapist not recommended... :-) For me, I have genuine questions about whether there is an unconscious, but in the same way as I wonder if the is Hegelian Spirit. Doesn't invalidate all their thinking. But nor is it rsistance.

Very Freudian that, unlike other thinkers, if you disagree with some of the fundamentals of Freud you are accused of 'resisting' him. I disagree with some of the fundamentals of Hegel, but that's not 'resistance'.
