The footage currently circulating of Russian troops entering Pokrovsk once more demonstrates their utter disregard for human life. It should make every citizen of the free world ask themselves: Should we really tolerate these people laying waste to sovereign Ukraine while we stand by and do nothing?

Mimicking Nazi Germany, the Russians are indiscriminately bombing Ukrainian homes and infrastructure, leaving millions without electricity or running water as winter approaches. Yet NATO cannot close Ukrainian airspace to protect civilians from this fascist aggression as it did in Bosnia and Libya.

Lukoil declares force majeure at Iraqi oilfield following sanctions Lukoil Force Majeure: Lukoil has declared force majeure at the West Qurna-2 oilfield in Iraq due to Western sanctions impacting its operations, potentially leading to a complete exit from the project ...

This is a hopeful sign that the fascist Russians will be stopped and that their war of aggression will soon grind to a halt. U.S. and U.K. sanctions have forced Lukoil to suspend operations at West Qurna 2, one of Iraq's largest oil fields.

‘Loophole’ in sanctions allowing Russian oil to be imported to Australia through port part-owned by Macquarie Bank Australia stopped buying fuel directly from Russia after its invasion of Ukraine but has imported more than 3m tonnes of its oil products since 2023

Another NATO ally has revealed its total absence of strategic foresight by acting contrary to the alliance's interests. Financing Russian fascism and enabling its victory over Ukraine will not prevent a third world war — it will lay the groundwork for it.

I wouldn't agree with "capitalism sucks" because the phrase is often used to project all misgivings onto. Capitalism is freedom of choice, and democracy is the best there is. However, every system needs a framework, and its effectiveness can be measured by how it treats its most vulnerable members.

Yes, I stumbled over this one too. How can a serious writer respond to the accusation of downplaying the repression of communist dictatorships with the phrase, "There is a place for naiveté"? This is the opposite of empathy, which she claims to possess. It's quite horrible, actually.

I couldn't agree more. The author's apparent failure to speak with victims of the communist dictatorship in her country, which she calls "socialist," renders her approach biased. I also became irritated when I read that she runs a podcast called "A.K. 47." What sane person would choose such a name?

On November 9, 1938, the world learned how Nazi Germany hated its Jewish citizens. On this day in 1989, the Russian occupied GDR, which imprisoned its citizens, finally began to fall. Today, as Russia stokes hatred against Jews and Muslims alike to divide Germans yet again, we must learn to resist.

'Apparently, God himself commanded the Russian Orthodox bishop to build a chapel right under NATO radars' Russian security forces are strengthening their influence in northern Norway — and sowing division within the country.

I wonder how long it will take the EU to realize that the Russian Orthodox Church is not actually a church (and never has been), but rather an active arm of the Russian security apparatus that must to be sanctioned immediately.

Lucy Ash writes about Grigory Alfeyev, the debauched right-hand man of FSB stooge "Patriarch Kirill". The article contains a list of Alfeyev's well-known depravities and exposes him and his organization as a front for spreading fake news, inciting hatred, and promoting the genocide of Ukrainians.

I hear what you're saying. However, Mr. K. will remain a grifter until he starts using his prominent status to for fundraising for weapons for the Ukrainian military on a regular basis - instead of just raising his voice like the others do.

Signing a declaration recognizing Ukraine's territorial integrity should be the absolute minimum. However, this is all just words, and it's quite uninteresting with regard to Visas for "ordinary Russians". The declaration is really about infighting among the so-called Russian opposition.

To answer the question of whether it makes sense, I'd rather look at who would profit the most from such a public registry.

Personally, I also think Kasparov sucks because creating a registry of opposition sounds a lot like what Igor Rogov, a former Navalny aide and FSB employee of the month, was convicted for. However, mandatory proof of donations to the Ukrainian military certainly won't help the Russian government.

Signing documents or declarations does not constitute a thorough security check, but proving monthly donations to the SBU would. This is where you can usually discern the true attitude of most Russians who claim to oppose the war yet refuse to support the fight against their compatriots.

Will Brown writes about Russian neocolonialism in Africa. The so-called 'Africa Corps', clearly echoing Erwin Rommel’s Nazi force, is the Moscow’s new expeditionary formation in Africa. Like Wagner before, it is also laden with neo-Nazi and white supremacist symbolism.

Coming from a country that was invaded by the Russians multiple times, you don't seem to be 'perfectly aware' of Russian colonialism tbh.

If you carefully study, you'll discover that the majority of World War II victims were from Ukraine, Belarus and Poland, not Russia. The same goes for the territory the Nazis invaded. Russian propaganda wants you to believe that the USSR was Russia, but it was actually made up of 14 Russian colonies.
