I keep thinking it's a reminder "here's what you CUDA done if you knew how to" :D

13.02.2025 11:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Excited to host Andrei, PhD student @ IST who will present 'Pushing the limits of LLM quantization via the linearity theorem' on Jan 10 @ 1800 CET at Cohere For AI. Really cool results and look forward to the talk. Join the community: tinyurl.com/C4AICommunit...
04.01.2025 21:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Diffusion in its other variants (Perona-Malik, Edge-Enhanching) was used and was well known in CV right? and they were used quite a bit. Modern interest in diffusion seems to have progressed rapidly post the success of DALL-E [the latter part is what I think].
29.12.2024 00:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I wonder if its possible to setup something like backblaze + mount it on colab [something like fsspec maybe?]
28.12.2024 18:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Even as someone in the field, I was quite thrilled with how it performed [especially in the many Indian languages I used while interacting].
28.12.2024 17:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Definitely recommend anyone using mac terminal/iTerm to give it a shot, its very user-friendly [and power-user friendly].
28.12.2024 17:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I was a beta-tester on #ghostty [though I got in towards the end of the period]. I primarily used alacritty before -- and both were very fast and I would say on average I might not be able to tell them apart. However, I love the customizability, snappiness and well-thought out it is.

28.12.2024 13:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am so glad that I'm not the only one XD I feel the same way about systems too.
23.12.2024 10:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Didn't the early work from Deep Mind on atari directly work on image space? (More like RL adopting deep learning techniques in CV). I also remember this: github.com/wuhuikai/TF-...
01.12.2024 23:15 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes, and the original sin of computer science was its haughty conception as a subfield of mathematics rather than an engineering discipline.

26.11.2024 22:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What would you consider as evals that semi-reflect practical utility right now?
26.11.2024 09:19 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Time to find all the ML Systems and Efficiency folks on Bluesky :)
