I get it for the odd film now and then but like...now they're just milking it because they cant come up with their own stuff anymore.

Dreamworks only really has one film to their slate of live action adaptations and whilst it worked and was greatly done....and their catalogue of live action potentials is smaller than Disney's.

We all know they're gonna do Shrek eventually tho.....

Someone thought "Oh heeey, Disney and Dreamworks just did successful live action versions. Lets do it now!". I swear Disney ruined the movie industry with this crap.

Sequels? Absolutely.

Live Action Remake? Get to fuck...

Yea their original films seem to do so poorly which is ashame because a lot of them are great but the sequels always garner more attention.

Its not mean to say slow. It just means he's taking his time with it to ensure its great.

I was the same. I know it was just the same exact film but they really did recapture it well in live action. Like holy shit the actors did briliantly and the special fx was top notch. And of course, as always, the music. Definetely a standard future LA remakes should be following.

I could see it echoing the events of Wish World with Omega and Rassilon (who should still be alive) controlling the narrative of their society whilst hiding the truth of what really happened with Tecteun.

That's fair. Personally I loved that Sutekh reveal. One thing I want about Omega is how the whole Timeless Child plays into him being the "first timelord" thing. That feels too important to not conflict in the finale.

That said, I liked the whole concept of it. Just feel the overall execution feels off. Maybe my mind will change with Reality War so it rounds out the story but I dunno.

I liked those aspects.

Granted it feels like the weakest Part 1 finale we've had though. Is it just me that feels empty about the whole Omega returning thing? Its been predicted so much since at least Series 5 that it's a pretty underwhelming reveal.

Christmas had nothing to do with it. As I said, completely bad marketing. I agree a christmas release would've helped the film get some distance from TLJ but its release date wasn't that much of a problem. Plus Deadpool 2 was out the week preceding it so that contributed more than Infinity War did

Tbh he's directed some banger movies before that. Free Guy, Night At The Museum, the very underrated Real Steel. I'm pretty excited about it.

They're almost a month apart lmao. Infinity War had next to no part in Solo failing considering they were released over a month apart. Solo failed due to bad marketing and mixed response to Last Jedi.
