This op-ed from the @washingtonpost.com claims that small farms are worse than factory farming, as organic animal agriculture would require more resources if it went global. True: but the solution is to shift away from animal agriculture, not double down on factory farming and its abuse of #animals.

5) The lies will work as long as our educational system continues to fail people.

Just a few reminders that

(1) climate change is real,
(2) governments that pretend otherwise are paid for inaction,
(3) those who purchase inaction profit from the problem,
(4) the global victims of the problem will pay the price of those profits.

The Pasadena Humane Society is collecting donations to help animals harmed by the #fires in LA. "We have taken in over 300 animals due to evacuations. We are providing them with pain medications, wound care, fluid, and oxygen as needed. Our biggest need right now is for monetary donations."
