Like all other things in life, BALANCE is the key.

We’ve all known or encountered someone who has allowed themselves to be a doormat in an abusive relationship, and kept themselves in that space for far too long.

Empathy is critical to being human, but being too much of a bleeding heart makes you vulnerable to psychopaths.

BUT- there is in fact possible to be “to caring”

When people say “I wouldn’t wish (X) on my worst enemy” it tells me they’ve never TRULY hated someone before.

That means they are extremely sheltered and naive, or they’re too kind-hearted for thier own good.

Not until the price goes down, not until the price of games goes down, not until the economy gets better (if it ever gets better) and not until there’s more games that are going to make it worthwhile.

I’d sooner buy a replacement switch 1 than a switch 2. I was going to buy an oled until those fuckups raised the price.

As someone who was a lifelong Nintendo fan who owned every console since N64, I’m still not convinced on buying a Switch 2-

Why should I choose a Switch 2 over a #SteamDeck ?Steamdeck has more quality as a device at a slightly lower cost while having access to mostly the same games.

Nintendo needs to lean into its treasure trove of exclusive IPs now more than ever, and they’re not doing that.

In an age where Microsoft and Sony are content with releasing thier stuff on all devices, platforms matter less than they ever had in gaming’s history.

Why should I own a switch 2 when I already have a PS5 and a decent gaming laptop?

The only other major NEW things announced this direct was Resident Evil 9, but I thought for sure Capcom already announced that earlier this year.

Everything else is just reheated food from last gen, remakes, and stuff that’s going to be available on other platforms.

Before the direct, the only Switch 2 game I was excited about was Kirby Air Riders. After the direct, I now have only 2 games to be excited for. (Fire Emblem 3 houses the squekual)

I’m glad #MetroidPrime4 finally got a release date, but that’s coming to regular switch.

Today’s #NintendoDirect was pretty good, but I went into today’s direct with one question:

Am I going to be convinced to buy a Switch 2 next year? The answer was-

NO.

I don’t give a shit about 9-11. I care about the Epstein files getting released.
