I'm in the process of writing ATM but in my fic, Ed's new best mate 'Jeff' is helping to rescue Stede and Mary Bonnet, as well as the pirates captured on The Republic, who are locked up between 2 British ships docked in Bridgetown.

And, unbeknownst to them, a third ship is on its way...
