Anyone else annoyed by the new spotify update adding lyrics above the playback controls, so the album artwork hops up and down between songs depending on whether the lyrics are available?

But to try and tell me that "new items in Japan are never shrink-wrapped" is beyond belief.
Every record I've ever bought from Japan has been shrink-wrapped. Dozens of them, from the big Sony releases to the independent labels.
The absolute gall.

Maybe that's true, I don't know. This one was clearly cut at the top and didn't have a resealable flap, but whatever.

There are some really good ones near me, so I try to where I can, but Japanese City Pop is sadly a bit niche for the little independents!

The Essoldo in Stretford, Manchester. A small art deco cinema with pink and blue stripes climbing the curved front of the building.

I used to live near this one, which I think was a single screen (with stalls and a circle like a proper theatre!) and later converted to a bingo hall.
It's been closed down since I was a baby but I'd kill to see it reopen.

I think it's more specific than that so FF would be fine. Like it covers chucking a little guy out from a ball and having it run alongside you and follow orders, but FF has you choose a summon from a menu who toddles off and attacks on his own.
