Same here. It kinda just sticks with me for the breadth of ideas that they were attempting to pull off but ultimately failed. Hell even the fact that they had full body perspective working was amazing.

Awesome really great remaster, only downside is it doesn't have the extra content. But it's not a necessity to be honest.

That or the GBA version, iirc the GBA version has a bit more extra content.

Absolutely. That is an apt comparison.

It had the potential but needed more time.

From a technical standpoint. It's interesting that they repurposed the Descent engine for it even if that did hinder its development.

I hate to say it, but I remember that Konami direct/presentation a year or so ago when they showed off that early footage.

It didn't really look promising then, but was hoping to be wrong.
