Have your conclusion written or memorized before you walk in.
Remember three points that you want to reinforce as your final remarks (for example: I’m the one you want; I can help you get to where you need; I believe in you and share your values).

Most interviewees have a list of questions ready (we can talk about that at another time), an idea of how to talk about their resume and challenges, and so on.

But one of the best ways to really make a positive and powerful impression is to start at the end.

They stood up to protect our Jewish way of life.

They stood up to defend a major Jewish community event.

And they empowered those present to stand strong.

But, in truth, these inspiring men and women, along with our security partners and the outstanding officers of the Teaneck police department, did far more than just protect those who attended the two days-event.

We thank our law enforcement partners, who apprehended the individual in time before any harm was done.
After we learned about the potential threat, we enhanced preventative security measures through our teams at affiliated institutions.

This Friday late afternoon CSS was made aware of an individual with potential terrorist motives who was intent on causing harm to synagogues in the New York area during Shabbat, the Sabbath.

I’m proud that the legacy of freedom and solidarity, is something we continue to uphold.
