A lil about me: I have Crohn’s disease! As a result, I’ve had most of my small intestine removed over the years, there’s like 3 feet of those guys left in there. Thus, these crocheted intestines are actually not an UNrealistic representation of my intestinal tract! #crochet #amigurumi #crohns

Attempts to make ceramic lidded jars, fresh off the wheel. There are two small cylinders each with a lid on top, which kind of slope in and come up as a knob in the middle. The lids are on top of the jars

A single, fully enclosed ceramic form thrown on the wheel. It’s a cylinder with an indent about 2/3rds of the way up, and above the indent is a domed lid with a flat knob in the middle. Eventually, you cut at the indent and allegedly end up with a separate cylinder and lid that fits because it was thrown as one piece

I have yet to figure out a reliable way to trim things with a narrow neck because I am just terrible at using a chuck, it’s my personal nightmare. Might try throwing a cylinder and flipping them into that. So, a chuck, but wet? A wet chuck? Gross but OH WELL

My main man Meoward has only one tooth left in his elderly head, so I’m making some pet bowls with ridges in the bottom which I think could help him control his tongue a little better and eat more easily? We’re gonna find out! #pottery #ceramics #cats
