I enjoy singing, even if I'm not adept at it. There's a feeling of freedom and just pure contentment that I can't quite describe when I'm doing so.

But I'm also horribly self-conscious about how I sound.

I'd love to learn it properly some day, if only to settle that notion one way or another.

Allow me to make myself perfectly clear:

I will never support anything that uses "Generative A.I.".

It tells me the person using it doesn't actually care about what they're doing.

And if they can't be bothered to give a shit about what they're making, why the hell should I?

Something I've had to unlearn as I've aged was a perfectionism ingrained in my youth.

I was taught "If you're not going to do it right, don't do it at all."

Nowadays I try to stick to "Get it done first, then make it good."

I'm still a perfectionist, but it comes AFTER I'm done making something.

Most certainly, and quite a few at that!

Although I believe a robotic eye would be the first in line.

Helldivers 2, Abiotic Factor, MegaMan Legends, and the Lancer TTRPG.

That mixed option isn't supported by the base class, either, so the conflict expands to encapsulate the entire journey.

The other subclasses don't suffer from that design choice.

I readily admit my bias, because I genuinely did not enjoy it.

I wish I had picked a different subclass for that game.

Armorer Artificer is split between being a martial class and spellcasting class, but the conflict arises with focus.

So on any given turn you can cast a spell, or you can attack twice. In a damage-focused game like 5th Edition D&D, that's a rough choice to make.

As far as favorite / least favorite D&D class?

I'd say my least favorite is Armorer Artificer. Its kit conflicts with itself in an unpleasant way.

I haven't gotten to try all the classes, so I can't claim a favorite sadly.

Even with the power out, my phone is still functional and can access Bluesky. (For as long as the battery holds out, anyway.)

Luckily, the power's back now!

I think the Lancer TTRPG might count?

I'm not one for hobbies that I'm aware of, but it's certainly an interest I have!

I tend to just slip into their mindsets / headspaces, but to get into the voices I tend to use a trigger phrase.

For Khel, it's "Hello~ I am Khel Zouren!", as an example.

For Valcenien, it's "I say, my dear fellow!"

For Viper, it was "Well, hell, son."

But more seriously, it's the way she laughs. I love to hear her laugh, especially when she completely loses herself to it.

One of my consistent aims is to give her reasons to smile and laugh. I don't always succeed, but I'll never stop trying.

Always good to catch up with old friends, but makes you realize how quickly time passes without noticing.

As far as Lancer goes, it's going! I greatly enjoy the system and want to see what sort of stories can be told in it when I have time.

The buildcrafting never ends, coincidentally.
