It was a red letter day in the Bachman kitchen!

Brunch was sourdough, scallion and cheese bread pudding, while dinner was a creamy Miso and Leek pasta 🤤

Both mostly dairy free thanks to oat milk and an excellent cashew/coconut cream replacement.

Most notably when I asked seat 2 opponent why I shouldn't attack, got shown a chain of vapor, got them to use another removal effect on my beater, then set up seat 4 to attempt a win that chain could stop. I could then untap and win through the one removal effect seat 2 was still holding up.

Feeling pretty good about my disciplined mulligans and table play today, getting more equity in most of my losses than I thought I should most times by giving or asking for info.

Update:

Starting off 2-0 @themanavault.bsky.social anniversary event for 10 duals! Feeling good, letting the deck carry me through 6 rounds of swiss among a full field of 148 players. Hoping to activate Mindslaver at least once today.

Fair enough, I think modern players just avoid 1 toughness creatures more heavily. Blocking ocelot pride, etc.
