Like in my mind you can’t get nostalgic for the same decade and that makes perfect sense at 35 but I really did forget that in your teens and early twenties, three years is like a decade

A funny part of getting older is that while time does pass faster, you also forget how little of it has to pass for younger people to start getting nostalgic about something so you’ll see someone opining about 2021 and look at them like they just waxed poetic about this morning’s breakfast

I've been nervous that it's entering that territory of things people say that *should* have meaning but don't really connect to any sort of action, becoming empty signifiers of being politically aware. Reminds me of how so many of the 2020 protests' core tenets got turned into lawn sign fodder

We're heading into production on our game, everything's on schedule, we have let people know that everything's on schedule, and still (what I suspect is) one person continually presses the nudge button which means every time we log in we have to dismiss a big red bar across the top of the screen lol

I really do believe the little Kickstarter "Nudge for an update!" button is one of the worst things to happen to our entire world

Always good to do but this year is an especially good time to do your shopping locally!
