And what's the idea getting stoned in the middle of the boss fight?

Apparently too old to Rock 'n' Roll and too young to die.
And what's the idea getting stoned in the middle of the boss fight?

04.12.2025 01:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0At least the textile machines could mass produce a product of equal or better quality than what came before, though.
AI is putting people out of work to mass produce crap.
So you're blessed and I'm damned, then?
Well, at least it's good to know the RNG still likes me when it rolls for hit points.
And if they do, the dumbass voters will blame them for the discomfort and vote the predators back into office.
Dr. Strange needs to read the possible futures find us a long term outcome where we're not all screwed.
Like I said, I think if you take down the Big Foozle it might let you type in the password again post endgame.

You plan on doing the "burger battles" at some point, too?
There's an ethical dilemma. If the AI -is- at the level of Data from Star Trek, such that it is really sentient and/or sapient, then it being corporate owned is somewhat problematic.
28.11.2025 04:56 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Ouch. Dealt with that sort of crap from my not quite ex for 7+ years now.
Just ignore her. Block all communications except on one channel (that has good archiving in case you need evidence later), and don't even dignify stupid BS with an answer.
Harry Truman often referred to that political tactic as "the big lie".

My first job was at the JC Penney that was in the background of the parking lot where they first activate the deLorean.
The experts don't disagree.

Was it inevitable?
Or have we just been conditioned to believe that (like the AI bros are trying to condition us now)?
If you count the Portal games (which exist in the same universe), it's 2011.
15.11.2025 03:47 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I mean, it could be worse in this case, but I consider the death of all forms of physical media a bad thing. Last thing I want in life is a corporate landlord controlling my access to the things I enjoy.
15.11.2025 03:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Would be nice if they wanted to revisit their gaming IPs more often, instead of milking the cash cow. My 13-year old daughter played through and enjoyed every Half-Life title, and it's kind of frustrating that the series just drops off a year before she was born (we aren't counting the VR title).

It's been a while for them.
Is their publishing platform keeping PC gaming alive? Who knows? I guess they deserve some kudos for insuring EA's platform never took off.
Love or loved? The game company or the publisher? Can you name the last Valve game you enjoyed?

Great. I'm sure we all agree with that. But.. who are you going to replace him with, and how are they going to get better results?

I guess if you asked the Bellbot in Starship Titanic about the migration patterns of monarch butterflies, the game will pick some variation of the "I don't know about that" reply, where an AI might crib something plagiarized off the internet for you, but how does that make the game any better?
I used to own that one. Developed by Douglas Adams, and they even got Python Terry Jones to play the obnoxious parrot.
I'd say its ability to parse context from the typed text wasn't noticeably worse than what we see today.
