Wouldn't - Plastic lenses can be made of very high quality, think of most eyeglass lenses.
Couldn't - Making quality lenses at the price point of most Holga's is doubtful. I have seen references to some Holgas haing a Japanese made glass lens. I have not had the chance to work with one.

I expect that the photographic prints have matched what has been the photographic frames being made, and those are a lot of the 4by5, aka 8by10. .

I suspect that print sizes stabilized at 8 by 10 and square before 35mm cameras became popular. And the 36 by 24mm 35mm format was more of an engineering decision than artistic.

I think that my father had a 103 Land camera. I had one of the earlier Pathfinder 110A cameras. Lovely cameras. I hope that the film comes back.

I posted something rather lame, but I deleted it and filtered my posts.

My summer water temps tend to be around 25°C, so I take the developer measuring cup and put it in an ice bath to cool it down to about 20 to 21°C. The other chemistry is about 25°C and the film doesn't see to be bothered.

I believe that more is not the merrier. I understand having certain cameras for certain purposes, but the photographer does not learn any ONE camera well. At least that is my experience.

I suspect that’s it can be summed up as personal taste. I had a Kodak DX7630 point and shoot with a CCD sensor and always liked the colors. I cannot say if it was the CCD sensor or the onboard processor that made the difference.

Do you think that there is any difference in the images with the older sensors as compared to the newer ones?

My error. I have a Kodak folder of the 616 variety and understand the concern. I tried it once and decided that it wasn't for me.
Somewhere I read about putting thin strips of plastic on the 116/616 as masks reducing the film size down to 120. I have not tried it.

Box cameras generally don’t cover the back red window with panchromatic film. I doubt that you will have a problem.

Won't do me any good, no plans to visit the Vatican City.

I don't think that I would buy many new cameras or camera bodies. On the other hand, I could see dropping some serious cash on some glass.
