Tees Valley mayor Lord (Ben) Houchen promised renewal. Instead, Britainโ€™s biggest regeneration project has turned into a taxpayer-funded scandal - enriching a few local businessmen while leaving public bodies on the brink.

The X-periment: Sky News Proves Elonโ€™s Algorithm Does Pick a Side Nine fake British users, ninety-thousand posts and one undeniable conclusion - X is boosting the far right, and the rest of us were never meant to win the argument.

Today marks the official death of my Twitter blue-tick - and fittingly, Sky News published an investigation proving the whole thingโ€™s an algorithmic bin fire.

Itโ€™s been real, itโ€™s been ragey, itโ€™s been hell.

Let it burn. Let it all burn to the ground.

Rabbits have got loads of energy but the meat lacks one essential amino acid so you can starve to death by eating rabbit but only if you eat just rabbit. Celery takes more energy to digest than you get from it but I suppose you could give it to the rabbit before you eat the rabbit ๐Ÿค”

Reeves considers cut to green levies in effort to reduce cost of energy bills Exclusive: Chancellor hopes to save up to ยฃ170 from average bill but industry insiders say move would be โ€˜disastrousโ€™

To be clear, what is being proposed here is to axe the main mechanism for getting Britainโ€™s homes insulated - which is by FAR the best way to reduce household energy bills in the long term ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

โ€ฆand also, just incidentally, an absolute non-negotiable requirement for meeting UK climate targets ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿฅตโ˜ ๏ธ

Yes Prits!
Apart from cocking up Covid,
Implementing Brexit,
Partying whilst people died,
Cutting local Govt funding by 40%,
Running down public services
And increasing levels of poverty.
We Conservatives were NEVER business bashing, job destroying or law breaking!

Partly because so many formerly leftwing parties have turned to the right, there's a lot of confusion about what right and left mean in politics. I hope this helps:

The right defends economic power.

The left resists economic power.

It seems to me that the biggest destroyers of our uplands, both in Ireland and Great Britain, are sheep. They have been filmed eating eggs of ground nesting birds, the damage they do to vegetation is so well known. Only thing that comes close is grouse moor management and muirburn.
