Valentine’s Day is extra special this year: Charlie turns 18 today! 🎉🐷 While most pigs raised for food never get to see their first birthday, Charlie’s long, happy life at our sanctuary is a testament to love and compassion. Here’s to many more years of snuggles and joy for our sweet friend!

Despite the widespread flooding and new cruelty case rescues, you all came through for our #HomeForTheHowlidays campaign! Long-term residents like Big Mack, Spike, Daisy, and Judy found homes, along with many others. In 2026, we’re going full speed to find families for even more rescued animals. 💚

Sadly, even in his cute winter coat, Freddy missed out on a home this Christmas. After being returned through no fault of his own, this was his first holiday alone. If you can give him a chance, there's still time to give him a happy new year! Freddy is 3-years-old, 80lbs, and in Monroe, WA.

2025 has been a year like no other. Our communities have faced hard times, but thanks to you, the animals who needed us most never faced them alone. From all of us at Pasado's, thank you for following along with us. Wishing you a peaceful, joyful, and hopeful holiday season! 💚

Mass flooding in our community means our adoption marathon didn't go quite as we hoped. We're now caring for a full house this holiday season. They are safe, warm, and loved here, but what they really need is a home.

After 532 days, our beautiful senior cat Spike has found his forever home! We're so grateful that he has a safe, quiet place to spend his golden years, and we know he'll get all the love he deserves with his kind new person. Congratulations, Spikey! 💚

The fur industry is cruel and outdated, confining millions of wild animals in tiny cages for an unnecessary product. Sadly, it remains legal in other countries, which export and sell fur products into the UK.

Let’s clear this one up… local doesn’t equal ethical. Grass-fed doesn't equal sustainable. Free-range doesn't equal freedom. “Humane” labels often means exactly what the industry wants you to think it means. Real change happens when we look past logos and ask who is benefiting.
