Longueville councillors and candidate out last Saturday in Weatherthorn for a Meet on Your Street session followed by visit to The Goldhay centre Saturday cafe newly opened.

Busy out and about today and found loads of abandoned shopping trolley’s dumped on the field behind Brudenell and Kilham.
Someone from Co-op was asking about this and the lack of trolleys there.
This field is like a trolley graveyard!

Cllr Nicola Day: ‘Great to attend the health and wellbeing event organised by the cooperative today.
Lots of stall and people coming to take a look and get bikes repaired.
Wonderful day for it.’

Orton Summer Clean
Come and join us for a local litter pick. We had a great turnout last time with the community coming together to keep our area tidy.
Meet on Saturday August 2nd outside QD, Ortongate Shopping Centre.
10-12pm, equipment and training provided.

Alex Bowerbanks, Cllr Nicola Day and Oliver Bowman were out and about in the ward today. We took a look at local communal gardens that need revitalising and replenishing. We had a local gardening expert with us.
Lots of rain, thank goodness for umbrellas and rain coats!

Peterborough will be hosting a March for Palestine, starting at Rock Park, PE1 2DH (12pm) and walking to Stanley Rec (1:30pm).

The Peterborough Greens will be marching in a Green Bloc with our "Greens for Palestine" banner. Please come and join us on the day. Let us know if you have any questions

Joined by Orton Green volunteer Alex Bowerbanks and Tanzeel who is doing some work experience volunteering with us.

Peterborough Greens has a great time at the Vegan Festival last Saturday.
